Travelled to Eastern Africa i.e Tanzania to be specific in 2010. Got located in the Kilimanjaro Base Valley in the beautiful town of Moshi. The landscape was BEAUTIFULLLL!!! ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! Did some introductory micro-financing fieldwork with a Program called BCC. Travelled around some areas in eastern Tanzania and major independent traveling to the Central parts. It was amazing...simply amazing and a life changing journey.
Was based with other volunteers in a lovely cottage 15-20 minutes away from Moshi town.
My lovely and absolutely fun-loving nanny Fatumah. She cooked and cleaned and took care of all the volunteers!
Just wondering how my hiking boots got so dirty..lol
Tanzania was having general elections at the time! The CCM party ruled Tanzania for the past 40 years!
beautiful sunset outside my volunteer home :)
Okay I was teaching her some swag ;)
The public transportation was known as Dalla Dalla.... It was crazyyyyy!!!!! Omg the space was crammed and I swear 15 minutes towards town and I nearly broke my neck! lol... I always took taxis after that experience!
Adorable School KIDS!!!! :D

Traveling towards Central Tanzania!
BREATHTAKING!
So I was on a bus travelling 12 hours to Dodoma, central Tanzania. Being the smart butt I was, I listened to my program coordinator and left behind my passport and didnot even take a copy. So yup, immigration officers caught me in the middle of a desert without any identifications to verify my status and they told me I would have to be deported back to Moshi and accompany them back to their office in the middle of nowhere in a desert. And they had to go and check up on some other foreigners living in the middle of nowhere and I HAD THE MOST AWESOME FREE RIDE OF MY LIFE!THROugh the desert for 3 full hours all around central deserts on their most awesome jeep! The officers were sooo friendly and no they didn't deport me. They let me off . And As usual whooped my camera out! ;) :O
LOL :P
Got some serious swag this dude!
